GET TO KNOW ABC SWIM SAFETY
My name is Rachael Cano and I am passionate about improving the lives of children and their families in the Saint Petersburg area. Inspired by the potential of our children, especially those with physical and developmental disabilities, I strive to enhance lives by increasing level of function.

My interest in educating children and young adults has guided me to become a Developmental Therapist, Registered Behavioral Technician, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, to obtain a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida, and to work as a coach for young gymnasts and swimmers. I have learned through out these experiences, effective strategies that are now being used in the Behavioral and Occupational health realms.
It is my intention to use my first-hand therapeutic skills, interpersonal skills, knowledge and education to promote children and adults through the teaching of important life skills like water safety.
