What do Swim Lessons look like for my 1 Year Old?



🔹Infant Self-Rescue (ISR) Classes🔹


Self rescuing swim lessons for infants (under 1 year old) are designed to help baby find their float and air supply then maintain both briefly until help arrives.


-practice tolerating water on the face

-practice safe pool entry and exit

-build tolerance and exposure to swimming


NEXT STEPS with ☀️ ABC Swim Safety ☀️


Designed to teach toddlers (1yr old and up) how to help themselves navigate inside the pool.


-practice breath control and diving

-utilize goggles for eye protection

-develop rotational skills needed for a sequential roll-over and reach, to then swim with forward motion towards a target

-instill motor planning patterns to develop a reach-kick reciprocal swim pattern

-build confidence and social skills
